Shell elongate, sinistral, reaching 5.5 mm. Sculpture of 3-4 spiral rows of rounded beads. Color whitish to cream-white, with darker row at the suture. The base is brown, with two spiral cords. Triphorids live in association with sea sponges (which in turn may be found locally living on rocks and other hard surfaces). This single shell was found by Debi and Barry McBroom at Gulfside City Park on Sanibel, and identified by Mauricio Fernandes.
